Samuel Joshua, born at 2.14pm, Friday 20 January. Birth weight 7lb 3oz (3.27 kg).



Mother and baby doing well, both still in hospital (c-section) but may be coming home tomorrow!

It's all wonderful -  little Sam has been putting up admirably with being prodded and poked by doctors and adoring family visitors alike!

I for one am still at a loss for words - I don't mind saying that when they handed him to me in the theatre I cried more than he did.

Congratulations, there is absolutely nothing to compare with the birth of one of your children. I too wept buckets when my son was handed to me 9 years ago. Whenever it is mentioned in front of my lad, we say I cried because I was expecting a puppy instead.
