Hi there

Sorry to sound so silly but I received a message to one of my posts from someone who has 'User currently ignored' - what does this mean please?   ::)
If you can't be a good example -- then you'll just have to be a horrible warning....

Hi-it could be that for that user you have hit the ignore icon-I just tried it on you :).

Go back and hit it again to unignore.

If you got upset by a member (heaven forbid) and you no longer want to communicate with them, hit the ignore button. I couldn't bring myself to ignore anyone as I am too nosey  :P

Nor could I Roy, I cant think of anyone to use the 'Ignore' button on, thank goodness. Please take note though folks, if i anyone upset me enough i would use it!

I wander through life blissfully unaware of storms raging on forums and then find that there has been a cull over something or other and lots of peeps aren't peeping any more.

Then I encounter the IGNORE thingy and am more puzzled

What next?

That'll teach me to go away for a week!

Trouble with IGNORE is surely that even someone who irritates us can have something wunnerful and eye-opening to say, so even if you all pick on me I won't IGNORE you.
What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

I think it's there in the interests of keeping our blood pressure under control, eg if you start following a thread which degenerates into something you can't cope with, you want to hit something or somebody  >:( and you start popping the heart pills.. Just hit ignore and it'll all go away..... :) :) :)

Silly me I thought we all had on/off switches if we didn't want to read anything we didn't like.LOL
