Well it's been 6 days now since I put the china egg in the nest box. Went in for a look the other day and I swear the girls were laughing up their wings at me :( :(

When did they stop laying Agapanthus?  This can have some bearing as to when they will start again.  I am sorry the china egg didn't work with your chickens.  :'(

Heldi, what have you got in your shed laying an egg as big as that?  :o  I see your chickens don't wipe their feet either before going into the nest box!  I've thought of making wellington boots for mine but what would be the chances of them leaving them at the door when they come in from outside!   :D

Lady Cosmos

Started to weigh the eggs today.
Between 105-110 grams - all double yolks.  :P :P

Great Lady Cosmos.  A new thread record!  ;D

I haven't got any scales right now...I'm sure I've had some right bobby dazzlers but nothing to weigh them on. I went to the local shops to buy some scales yesterday but not a set in sight. Hmmm...who's nicked all the scales eh???!!

Jesse

those look lovely :)

I haven't been weighing them but nothing particularly large recently.

Those eggs are huge Lady Cosmos.   :o :o  :o

What breed of chickens do you have?

Lady Cosmos

The big eggs are from Barnevelders. Most of the eggs have double yolkes and they give a lot of eggs  ;D
