Hi Tulip. Been a pretty serious lifestyle since last August...almost gave up and contemplated chucking my life into the back of a van again and heading across the water home. Job situation is drastic, mainly through officialdom and hiking up of small biz costs. Belgie is so slow to latch on it would have a problem catching a cold!
I'll give it a few months to buck-up here and if not, well, there's no option, a guy has to eat, no?
Nice to see you and some familiar faces on site. Looks like I missed some problems with some people on here...(nuff said on that one, it's been covered plenty and well dealt with by Dan.)
Almost got some snow last week!!
:o

Tulip, just seeing this post makes me think. Please tell me about your apple tree later in 2006 - how the pruning works !
Best regards, Jen

What actually does happen if you click on "Ignore"? Do you ignore the post, the poster, the thread or what?

Palustris

If you click on Ignore, a message appears in every posting in all threads by that person, saying that you have chosen to ignore them. You may still read other postings in the same thread.

Not very sociable, so I hope I never find it necessary. ::) .. and come to think of it - an even worse scenario - I hope noone ever feels the need to do it to me. :-[ :'(

As Palustris has said, it enables you to ignore all the posts from a user.  It is a feature which has been requested by a few people so I added it!

You can manage your ignore lists in your profile.

You will also see in your profile that you can ignore boards if you want to, so if you find the watershed irrelevant for example, you can ignore the board, and it will not appear in the forum for you.

Hope that makes it clear.

Looking at the above, I see there's only me and Dan without the ignore button. Now that's power!

I think the confusion arises as,

You can not ignore me, or yourself  ;D ;D
