Morning!!!

I'm doing the usual mummy duty this morning but have some little jobs to do as well. Then walking LP to school after an early lunch. OH is having a half day today so he can collect LP from school later on and I'm driving mum and dad to the airport this afternoon so they can fly off to Oz! Then I'll M6 it back home to steak and jacket potato cooked by OH - hurrah!

Have a good day everyone!

(Wave to Rathbone Place if you are that far up Oxford Street Dan - I used to work there!)

Larkspur

Being retired and it being 12 degrees I'm off to dig, dig ,dig (the brassica patch). ;D ;D ;D

Plocket

Hope the rain holds off Larkspur - it's looking somewhat grim here.

Wish I could be digging today but our clay will just get messy if I go digging, have to wait for it to dry a couple more days. Today I'll be cleaning out the chicken run, all the straw in there has gone muddy and yucky so that's going into the compost bins and the hens will get some nice new fresh straw to scratch about in. Rest of the day will be housework and a little bit of work to finish off. :)

Larkspur

Hi Plocket, just off now but it's looking grim here now. You havn't put a spell on my weather have you? ;)

Plocket

No Larkspur - I promise I haven't! Fingers crossed the weather will improve:

Margi

I hope you're not coming to Manchester Airport without meeting me for a coffee, Plocket!!! I shall cry...

Oh hunnie! To be honest I hadn't thought of it. How far are you from the airport and the motorway? Want to e-mail me? Px

Margi

Ooops! Bit late now, I guess... I'm about half an hour's drive from the airport, but would have been more than willing to meet you there for a quick coffee, or take you somewhere local for a brief bit of HRT!  When are they coming back?

Margi x

BTW - I don't know of a way to alert people you're replying to their A4A posts, do you?

Plocket

Hi Margi! Just got back. Lots of driving - I didn't stop at the airport, just dumped them! They are away for five weeks but I'm not picking them up - they land at some silly time that just doens't fit in with LP and I. OH took the afternoon off this time round so he could have some LP time - she loved it! And I got back in time to say nite nite! Got any plans for half term? Px

Ooops I meant to say, I get an e-mail notification when someone replies to a thread - is that what you mean?

Margi

Hi Plocket

Half term - hmmm! Interesting...  I'm sure we can sort something out!

How do you set up for the email notification?

Margi x

christine

Margi - on the 'post reply' page, after you'd typed that message you should have clicked on 'Additional Options'  and ticked  'Notify me of replies', then you would have got an e-mail when Plocket replied.  Goddit?

As it is, you'll have to shout!!!

Chrism.
