the best place to get wooden pallets

i need a few wood pallets for a compost bin .. think i need seven ...where is the best place to get some from ...any place in cardiff ?

Ask at your local DIY store round the back for damaged 'whites'. They will normally oblige you ...

we get ours from the local farm supply store, the bags of chicken feed are delivered on pallets.

The guy who delivered my shed from Homebase very kindly gave me a large pallet out of the back of his van.  :)

He also told me that there's usually pallets left out around the back of most Homebase stores around the Midlands, so it might be worth checking out over in Cardiff. ;)

Sheldon, Birmingham.  I've put the pin on Google Earth where my shed is, in the allotments.  It's in an area with a satellite photo which is cool!  You can't miss it, there's a bl**dy great big Airport next door!

Look up a Haydens Bathrooms store and go round after they knock off...
You'll be able to chosse from lots of different types.
What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

We just get them from skips. We use them for firewood.

Wasn't that Ivor the Engine? How did we end up talking about this from pallets ?  ;D I think the season has finally got to me, perhaps a darkened room and a strong drink ...
