 ???
good morning all
I have an un-used clay chiminea which has a chip on the mouth, does anyone have any idea what i should use to repair it so that it is protected from the frost and the heat when i first fire it up

For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.

You'll need heat proof adhesive.  I looked on internet and found some leads.  Intek was one.
I came, I saw, I composted

Kathryn,

I think Chemical Metal might be able to take the heat, any decent, hardware shop, chandler, car accessory shop should have it. It'll say on the leaflet inside if it can.

A chiminea is a wood burning stove, I wanted one for ages...
Thanks for the tips

Fire cement will do the trick ...

This should be available from any quality DIY or trade stores ...
