What a groovy sight - it's tipping it down!  I'm sitting here musing on the strawberry patch being all neatly dug before the plants arrive!  Wicked!

Yo Oz - don't waste that output man!  Human urine is a brilliant compost activator (good also to add pee to a new leaf mould stack).  Not too much - just enough to give a nitrogen boost!

It's true!  See the HDRA!

Oz!

When wuz you ever shy about starting a thread?  You've only been over here 10 mins and already started three!

Any why did I never get raspberry and marmite sarnies over in the other place ... did you have a thing going with the Lady of the Camellias?

Incidentally, re previous post, had long conversation with ower Hugh about the merits of urine in compost heaps, loadsa stuff about it on web too.  'Ang on - allotment chick ain't ower Hugh under a different name ...  :)

Glad you got some help re the digging.  I am still clearing area for planting out next year, although drowning in a sea of beans at mo.  Took some into work and came back with someones surplus courgettes - three different varieties, white, green and gold.

Catch you soon.  Suze
