Lily

After spending a couple of hours on the allotment this morning, I was almost in tears at the thought of leaving my lottie.  My friend and I spent our usual 2 + hours stint on the plot and when hunger and thirst takes over off we go.  As we were about to leave I turned around to have a look at the plot, and I swear it spoke to me and said ' don't go Lily don't go'  I didn't answer back, but I am sure that I will one day.

What am I going to do in the winter, I shall want to bring my dear Lottie home with me until the spring.  My only thought is the plant as much winter stuff as possible to keep her occupied so that I can sneak off without her looking.

What's happening to me, to us.  It's the Lottie syndrome and I'm sure it will become 'pandemic' if it's not kept in check.

You need to get a fisherman - it's amazing how much you can do with a headlight.......definately a lost cause here!   ::)
Neil (The Young Ones) once said "You plant the seed, the seed grows, you harvest the seed....You plant the seed....."   if only it was that simple!!!

Garden Manager

I think I am addicted to gardening too. I get 'withdrawals' when I havent done any for a while. Even work IN the garden (not nessesarily gardening) is beter than nothing.

Then i tend to get frustrated when i do manage to get out there and the soil is too wet to do anything, or its windy and everything blows around too much and i end up shouting at the wind for spoiling things.

Worse are those fine dry perfect gardening days and (for whatever reason) I cant get into the garden (compounded if the next day is back to rain and wind again).

Mad or what?
