i can't complete my registration there for some  unkown reason so i don't post there but i do lurk. i understand you think its quiet over here - so talk! i can talk about allotments and veg with anyone for as long as they like!  ;D

if i ask all the questions i want to ask will people answer or do you want more in depth stuff? i hold back from asking a lot of things cos i think people must get sick of it.......

i'm not all take either i grew up on a market garden and did a diploma in ornamental fish farming so i can talk as much as you like about ponds and lettuce and tomatoes  ;D

talk to me.....

please......

Yo Jo

Beeb is v. difficult to log on to.  They send you an e-mail and best way is to cut and past the whole thing and then send it back.  Loadsa peeps had huge probs trying to get on board.

If you are into fish then you must meet Maggie who has now initiated pondlife board here.  What she don't know about koi and blanket weed ain't worth knowing ....  ;)

Problem with Beeb site is such nice, very knowledgeable people but we had huge difficulties with open/closed/can't post after 10 pm etc.  I still go there tho.

I think maybe we are a bit reticent being the newbies.

I will tomorrow post a blinding question for you to answer !

Hi Jo,

I think there are quite a few of us beebs comming over that we dont want to push the regulars out but we are a chatty bunch.
I have posted quite a few topics some no responce and others like the sad or sad me and my dream which had nothing to do with gardening took off. 8)
Yes I do go back to the other board and find that some of the new gardeners ask questions and dont get answers ok they might be simply questions :-/ but to a new gardener they want to do things  right and need the help from us more mature gardeners ( old sounds bad). :-[
I had the advice of my mum and if I cannot pass that on or my own experence to a up and comming gardener I cannot call myself a gardener. Now I will get off my soap box sorry :-[ Teresa

Teresa - we love your help!  Not old.... not even mature - use wise - I love that word.  I'm never sure though when you attain the wisdom that comes with age.  I though now I'm about 36 I'd start getting some but not yet - perhaps its lost the in post.

I agree Cerig - its excellent to have so many wise gardeners on hand to answer our questions. I sometimes think that I ask stupid questions (ok, always think that) but there's always some kind person who comes back with an answer - and it probably even helps other beginners, if they were thinking the same thing!

The more posts the better, that's what I think!

Hi all,

Let us all agree there are no stupid questions when it comes to gardening. ;)
The quickest, way to learn is, from each other.
ALL FOR ONE AND ONE FOR ALL ;D
