Outdoor Tomatoes

I have been looking throught a seed brochure thinking of getting some seed for growing outdoors next year. The brochure (Simply Vegetables from www.plantsofdistinction.co.uk) has a great range of heritage seeds but gives no indication whether each variety is suitable for outdoor production.
I have picked out Jersey Devil, Currant Sweet Pea and Stupice. Does anyone have knowledge of these varieties or know of a website with heritage tomato information?

It`s a nice catalouge.

Much depends on location -I am on the Lincs /Cambs border and have tried Stupice outdoors(and indoors)-it was fine.

Currant sweet pea is not one I know but `tiny` toms like `yellow currant` do well outside-Jersey Devil I have not tried.

I do wish Gardeners Delight was bigger  ;D  I like a decent sized tomato and can't be doing with the titchy ones  ;D

I grew a Heritage variety called Mortgage Lifter from Fothergills and it's is grown outdoors, wierd shape but gorgeous taste and dead juicy.  Lovely with cheese on a sarni as well as for spag bols and stews etc

I always grow toms outside as they don't need any pesticides  :)
