Hi Wardy,
I am advised Pigeons  on our Plot, eat new Seedlings ? ?

Right!  You could leave the netting in place, and just remove it temporarily to weed etc, then put it back in place.  As radish is quite quick to grow and be ready to eat you might not need to weed.  I use shopping baskets, turned upside down, as cloches to keep pigeons off.  Tesco ones are good  ;D
