my husband works at newcastle university and he and his fellow academics had a party last night and he met the bloke who did the research into garlic and slugs and also into coffee and slugs. i was far too impressed with that i need to get out more... ::)

My husband is getting worried. He has starting picking up tips and plant names and even identified a plant for a colleague of his.
HE HATES GARDENING.
won't go NEAR my allotment (even though he happily eats the stuff it produces)
His answer to this is
Gardening is addictive and catching (and he is an unwilling victim!)
