Splitters!

my cherry tomatoes have started splitting recently, i thought this was due to overwatering, probably due to the heavy rain of late. anyone else experienced this or got any other ideas what the reason may be?

I think it is the heavy rain after a dry spell that does it.  Just means you can't sho 'em but you can still eat 'em.  My beafsteaks have split in the same way.
