I am hoping to get some well rotted manure tomorrow to dig into my bed-how soon can I plant vegetables in it ?

If it's well rotted you can incorporate it into your soil and plant sow in it now.  If you have a lot you could use it as a top dressing for the worms to take in over winter.  I've just chucked a load under some black plastic so it's feeding the soil for next spring and keeping weeds at bay too  :)

I came, I saw, I composted

About three weeks ago we had 4 tons of well rotted manure delivered to our plot, we forked it all over and rotovated it in and the very next day I planted and sowed seeds. Everything is doing really well (fingers crossed....)

It cant do any harm.... :) :)

Some plants don't like/need manuring though so follow your seed packet instructions  :)
