What variety are they and when are they due?  Mine are only still seedlings but they are a medium to late variety.

I am almost ill with envy  :D :D
Well done Periwinkle! Wish my sprouts looked more like that
Lottie-less until I can afford a house with it's own garden.

Sprout

Mine were freebies from a neighbour and so have no idea which variety they are. About a foot high now but no sign of any sprouts yet.

They are Peer Gynt - packet says  For Early Pickings - September onwards so they are pretty much on target. They were sown early March and were planted out under enviromesh - bought some on offer from Kitchen Garden magazine. The enviromesh certainly helped protect all my seedlings from the cold wind and heavy rain we had in "spring" this year.
I also planted a late variety Wellington at the same time, they are not supposed to crop until December onwards.  Although they are behind the Peer Gynt will be very surprised if they hold out till Xmas!

Hope my sprouts are late ones - not that keen (although only had shop bought before) and only grew them for Xmas picking really.  Yours look very nice though I have to say.....maybe I could be converted yet like I was with runner beans!
