my dinner

Boiled potatoes, steamed cabbage,  big beef stew with our own onions.  All three children ate it all up.  Two even squabbled over the last bit of cabbage!   One of these days we'll get a digital camera and I'll be able to treat you all to my dinner...

All good stuff!!!! I hate all root veg but when husband was alive he would chop carrots and onions up really  fine and then put everything in slow cooker .It would all be cooking away all day until I came home from work at 5pm. LOvely flavours just can't  bare the tast of biting on the veg. Lorna

;D Yes it is a proud moment ;D well it was for me as a newbie when I tucked into a pork chop new potatoes fresh runner and french beans, peas and courgettes, all out of my own little plot. ;D I was very tempted to snap a piccy of it but couldn't drag myself away from this lovely meal to get my camera. ;D ;D ;D

Glad you hear you enjoyed your lotty produced dinner Nathan.  It's right satisfying to know you've put it all on the table with your own hard work.  Hunger gatherer instinct coming out   ;D  All the better if you know you've done it all without using chemicals too  :)

My niece titters at me taking pics of the dinner but now when I'm prepping the veggies etc she asks where the camera is.  It's catching  ;D

Digital cameras are brill.  My OH got me mine for Christmas and I don't think there's a day goes by when I don't use it.  Still useless at taking photos though  :(
