Can I sow chard now? Got carried away with the lovely colours on the seed packets :D
Never had chard, but love spinach, so I hope I will like it!!

Hi Katy,

Being a late starter too I decided that I would try everything I could, nothing ventured nothing gained.   I put in rainbow chard a week ago.  ;D

It will certainly germinate and grow, lets hope the frosts don't come too soon to give the little plants a chance to establish themselves!

Keep in touch we can compare notes.  I'm in the south which also helps! ;)
To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven: a time to be born and time to die: a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted.     Ecclesiastes, 3:1-2

Yup, planted some little plantlets out last week, and finished the row with seeds.  Noticed on Saturday they are germinating already!

Thanks ladies!!
Just come back from the plot and am all excited!!!!
I MADE A PATH!!!! Might not seem like rocket science to some, but now I have a proper bed with things growing in it and somewhere to walk when it rains ;D ;D ;D
Will be beetling off down to sow some chard tomorrow and cross my fingers!!
