Advice needed please.  Woke up to find it was raining and hasd been steadily for ages which is generally great.  However,  havingnot watched the forecast I also had all my onions drying nicely on the lottie.

So should I leave them to dry again in the fresh air or rush up there and bring them back to dry in the garage.  Not sure which is best in case they go mouldy in the garage.

I would leave them be, indeed some of mine are out there getting a wash right now.

I often raise them of the ground on chicken wire if lots of rain is forecast.

Given plenty of fresh air, I would think the onions would be better left on the plot for  now - that is what I am doing. I do not intend to bring them into the garage until the beginning of september.

Thanks for that - will leave them be then.  Iain
