Christmas Eve: cook the turkey.
Christmas Day: pack turkey into car. Drive for 1 1/2 hours. Recook turkey in grandmother's oven. Eat turkey. Drive home again.
Boxing Day: look at weather out of window. Shake fist at sky as it will be raining.
Day after Boxing Day: ditto.
Day after day after Boxing Day: think "sod it my fruit is coming" and go to the lottie anyway. Dig mud. Give up.
Repeat ad nauseum.

SueT,   Like everyone else hope your little grandson is better soon.  Would be lovely for you to have him home for christmas.  Bless the little one!
