Heldi

Here are my gatekeepers. They are my grumpy heros. They keep the old dragon who lives at the back of my garden at bay.  ;)

Heldi. My goodness I am not surprised they keep the old dragon at bay!!! I am almost frightened to go to bed now and I am not even an old dragon :o ::) Lorna.

Heldi

Don't be frightened Lorna, they are good little guys really! They defend my castle!

Mimi

Ahhh they are sweeties really Heldi.  Wouldnt mind one or two in my garden.  ;)
Take time to stop and smell the flowers.

lorna

Heldi. Glad to report I had a good nights sleep ;D I must admit that with the sun shining this morning they look quite welcoming other than if you are and old dragon!! May they keep defending you and your castle.  :) Lorna.

Plocket

Oh Heldi they are wonderful! Poor dragon though - what if it's a friendly dragon? He might just want a bit of company!

Lord Steve

Hi Heldi! They are great!! Real characters. I can see why you have them in the garden!

BAGGY

I want some.  I love things like that.  I have got a winged snarling dog thing (griffon??) at my dad's which I amgoing to swipe back and a gargoyle which is named after adn ex-boyfriend.
Get with the beat Baggy

Juliet

Heldi, I thought you had a dragon-slaying cat for that sort of thing ... .  Or are they there to protect the dragon from the cat?

Heldi

I'm glad you like them! I love gargoyles and such like. As long as they aren't whimsical. My gargoyle sits on the windowsill indoors. He wears tinsel around his horns at Christmas.

Unfortunately I was being rather naughty about the "old dragon". Spook the Dragon Slayer has met more than his match as the woman who lives at the back of us throws stones at him  :(  >:(

All other friendly dragons are very welcome.

I really love them Heidi, they are fab.

Do you know my brother had a dearly loved gargoyle which he cememted and bolted onto his front garden post and people often passed comment as he 'welcomed' them in.

Then one night a big car pulled up with tools, and managed to chisel him off and steal him.

Beggars belief doesnt it~and all in a quiet cul~de~sac  :(

Heldi

Honeybee that certainly does beggar belief. There are some total ratbags about.  >:(
