The squashes in my compost heap do have a bit of support, but only so I can lift them out of the way and bung stuff on the heap!

Our kohl rabi vary in size from tennis ball to marble!  At least we have succession I guess.  A drop of rain would help!

I have sown mine in the compost heap but they haven't

shown themselves... wonder if they will, as I planted them

about 21/2 weeks ago.

They may.  I tend to always start my squashes off in pots to give them a head start over the slugs!  ;D
