My veg patch

:) Just thought the veg patch looked nice & tidy, so thought I would share it. You are looking down the patch, to some flowers at the bottom.  I have just planted leeks & brassicas where the broad beans were, with toms, peppers & cues etc in the g/houses.  :)
it does help if you put the pic in, 2nd time lucky.  ::) ::)

Looks very good! Our weeds are waist high alongside our potatoes (didn't plant them close enough to each other!)
Our lettuce bolted.

:) I have to admit, this year has been strange on the growing front & I think I have waged a bigger battle this year with weeds & slugs & snails than ever before (or it seems like it!!). My harvest of broadbeans wasn't as good as usual either. Still that's gardening for you. ::)

:) You know what they say Roy, "one years seeding is seven years weeding" so we try to keep on top of it. The children & grandchildren help too which is great  so they get to taste the effort at the end of each harvest ;D We have had this garden on a roll like this now for nigh on 30 odd years & I think that helps.  :)
