Woke up this morning at 4am in terrible panic as suddenly realised I had not been to the lottie since Wednesday to fill up the drip bag in greenhouse for the tomatoes.......

As soon as civilised hour arrived (ie. hubby up to look after son) I raced down there and tentitively looked into the greenhouse to find......   :o 3 giant triffid like tom plants almost bursting with health and vitality.

I then remembered that when I planted them I put them in growbags but slit the bottom of the bags and placed them on freshly dug ground.  The plants, bless em, had found the hole with their little roots and gone into the ground beneath.  With all the rain we had earlier this week they found it easily as they are at the bottom of small slope.

Came home a happy girl - even though something has eaten half my strawberries, the french beans are pathetic, something is having a go at the peas too and the weeds and couch are up to my waist....!
