PREMTAL

Hi Movingfinger,
I would strongly advise you not to make wine from this herb. :(

Tansy(Tanacetum Vulgare) is classed as an anthelmintic herb, the primary purpose of wich is to rid the digestive tract of infestations of worms. :-\

Whilst it is quite safe for this purpose its continued use over a period of time should be avoided as constituants of the oil it contains are quite dangerous in large dosage.

Sorry to be the bearer of this message, but I am glad that I read your posting in time to warn you. ;)

Absolutely agree with PREMTAL, don't touch the stuff. Anyhow, there's plenty of other really nice things growing at the moment that you can make wine from.
