Meconopsis

I have never planted anything in my life, but two months decided that I really should  see if I can grow something. So I bought some seeds: hollyhocks, meconopsis and delphiniums because I liked the pictures on the packets. Unfortunately I then lost the packets so I don't know what is what.

Anyway, I've  now I've got lots of plants (about 50) about 6 inches high, in 3 different sorts. But because my springer spaniel runs all over the flower beds (not that there's any flowers in them)  I want  to know - can I now put these small plants in large containers full of compost ?

I'd be very grateful for any tips

Repost on non-edibles - us growers for food don't know anything about pretties unless they can be used as companion plants  ;D

I think it sounds like you have nothing to lose!! I put alot of plants in pots and they normally look OK, some even nice!!! Give it a go!  Lottie
