yes, i was saying, maybe for newbies it would be a good idea to always sow a few indoors in a labelled pot if you do outdoor sowings - so you know what to look out for between the weeds. a system of positive identification, so to speak.

Don't know about just newbies.  I molicoddled grass seedlings thinking they were spring onions...then I remembered where I sowed the spring onions......  :-X
