I have just dug out all the daffodil bulbs from the New Forest. They were not what it said they were on the label. They clashed somewhat with the Queen of the Night tulips all round them. The company, hopefully, are going to replace them in Autumn with the correct variety.
Be that as it may, I planted a 25 kilo bag of them, I have just dug up at least three times that weight in bulbs. Sounds good, but what am I going to do with them. Even this garden is getting full. Most of the borders have bulbs all over them. Nice problem though!

If you are really that desperate to get shot of them, the charity I work for is looking for donations of bulbs to be planted this autumn around the grounds of the hospital it's based in. We're planning a bulb and picnic day to plant them all (naturalised).
