my roses have green fly all over them
any tips how i can get rid off them

Organic - squish, run thumb and forefinger along stem, messy but works! Spray with chemical.  Hose off with hose (?), spray with diluted fairy liquid solution, import ladybirds and/or their larva, lastly waggle finger in menacing manner and shout alot!!!  Good luck.  Lottie  ;D  ;D  ;D

Do you have trees or hedges around? I just leave them till the blue tits find them.

Waggi - there was a thread on one of the boards here about companion planting, only a couple of days ago but cant find it at the moment.  If you do a search for companion planting, I'm sure you'll find it and I remember something in there about what to plant near roses to help with greenfly.
