The Tayberries are the deeper red raspberry look-a-likes.

Well Dibber, funnily enough, my darling is away this evening, and I have some double cream in the fridge, now, what's on telly!  ;D

lorna

E J that is one splendid assortment of fruits.

Bit of favouritism towards Dibber do I perceive?? :) :-\

Yellow Petals

Aaaaaahhhhh <drooling with tongue out> My mother-in-law makes a mean Summer Pudding.

Debs

What a beautiful assortment :P

Has anyone ever grown Huckleberries?

I've never heard of them, but was given some by my kind lottie

neighbours. They grow to about 3' and do not need staking.

Look like blackcurrants on the seed packet.

Debs

Mrs Ava

Yup, I have a lovely patch of huckleberries growing.  Good for jam apparently!  I shall try and remember to take my camera to the plot tomoz and take some pics. ;D

Don't you put any huckleberries into your summer pud EJ?

It's so weird the way you all use the word pudding, the dictionary says it's a creamy dessert but I know you could mean anything you eat after your main course. To me the picture shows a wonderfull plate of fruits hehehe.

Mrs Ava

I would Debs, but the Huckleberries are only just in flower on the plot.  I will try to remember to take a snap of them tomorrow....I got carried away today and forgot!

Gathered twice as much soft fruit today, rasps, strawbs, alpine strawbs, redcurrants, tayberries, jostaberries, blackcurrants.  What am I going to do with it all!?!?!  ;D  A fantastic problem to have don't you think!
