I picked up 2 dutch bantams yesterday, they are nearly a year old and have had 2 eggs today :)

What colour did you get jewel..... I used to keep and breed and show them
and by the way if you got 2 eggs they are contented in their new home . But
  don't be surprised if that tails off for a couple of days.

congratulations jewelflower  :). I'm green with envy - Paul won't let me have chickens incase the dogs try to eat them but I have such wonderful memories of going to my grandparents when I was little and collecting the eggs. Hope you enjoy them  :)

Good for you, now you'll never be without them.

Just don't fall into the trap of watching them do their own silly little things, or before you know it you'll wonder where the last two hours went!!! ;D ;D ;D
