All is not lost !!

Pleased to report that what seemed like a major disaster this morning has turned out really well. A lovely young lady at my work assisted by an equally helpful young man spent their lunchtime with me sorting out the puncture in the car tyre. There they were on hands and knees in the car park releasing the wheel nuts and changing the wheel for me - neither of them afraid to get their hands dirty. Not content with that, after lunch another colleague was dispatched by this young lady to check the tyre pressures and top them up with a foot pump. I've been told to go home early this afternoon, so that I can get the repair done.

There are some good people about - I hope that if ever you need them you'll find them too!!

I've Just read your post and it cheered me up  no end to hear about the folks at you workplace and how helpful they were in your hour of need. It lightens the heart when something like this happens doesn't it?  :D
My daughter would gladly help anyone who had a problem with their car - she loves tinkering with them and knows more about them than my two sons do!!  8) She helped a policeman once when he had a blowout on a single tracked road.  :o  She got a free dinner out of it and an invitation to join the police force!!!  ::)
