Stunning pics Carol. You must have been in awe at some of the sights that greeted
your eye.

My sis lives not far from Aberdeen so we have been lucky enough to have a couple
of trips up there ourselves.

They look stunning, Carol.

You should see them with a dusting of snow on the tops - it makes them look even better (if possible!)

The last time we climbed Buchaille Etive Mor (the mountain on the left as you enter Glencoe heading towards Fort William and also one of your photos) we had to cut a ladder in the snow and ice to get to the col.

It is our plan to retire somewhere to the north of Fort William and finish off climbing all of the Munroes (peaks over 3000 feet).

Wish we were up there now rather than fighting a losing battle against couch grass and mares tail  :'(
Once upon a time we were the newbies from Harley allotments. Now we're old codgers!

Yes the views last Monday were absolutely stunning because it was such a beatiful day.  It is the first time we have seen Ben Nevis with no clouds on top.

Hiya Roy,

I have tried clicking on the bottom right of all pictures but nothing happens.

That's some view alright.  Just that on the other ones my feeling is that scrolling back and forth detracts from the overall enjoyment of the picture.

and just a couple of weeks ago my favourite Japanese newspaper site updated its webpage and it is so annoying, it's just an eighth of an inch too wide for the screen. AAaaagghh. Surely they didn't do it on purpose. It's so annoying, just for that little bit

Hi Ciaran ;) If you rest your cursor bottom right of the picture (not directly in the corner) you should see an enlargement box appear, click it and hey presto!
The panoramic view is awsome ;)

Great photos. My grandmother lived in  a small cottage in the valley of Ben Regis, with the spey running through her back garden. I have not been back there since she died 12 years ago, had forgotten what a beautiful place it is, must change that and take the OH to see where I spent my school holidays!
