Can I have some please Ina?  ;D No Cream or Yoghurt for me though, they'll give me a sore tum  :'(

ina

If you can wait a few days you can pick your own, the ones on the picture are gone hehehe. Very soon we'll have more than we can eat, then it's time for jam making, mixed with some rubarb makes very tasty jam.

Just the best, they remind me of happy happy times, well done ina, glad you enjoyed  :)

ina

Hahaha Ruud.
Well folks, I sure enjoyed sharing them with you hehehe.
Now about the broad beans we harvested also today and ate for supper, that was before the strawberries ahhhhhhhhh, what can I say. Nice young ones, cooked with summer savory and served with bacon bits.
Lottie gardening is a good hobby but eating isn't bad either, hah!

Marianne

oh they look lovely!

We had our first strawberries for the year at the weekend - but only four each, and three were tiny alpine ones! There are plenty more almost ready (I like them really red and ripe) so I'm hoping for a good crop later this week.
gone to pot :D

kenkew

Aqui, why have you got a bucket on your head?

busy_lizzie

They look absolutely delicious Ina.  There is nothing to compare with freshly picked strawberries.  I have lots of strawberries this year but mine have a long way to go yet and are still a pasty colour.  Can't wait until they look like yours.    :) busy_lizzie
live your days not count your years

aquilegia

ken - tis not a bucket, it's my spade (upside down) I think I'm yielding it at Mr Aqui as I don't like having my photo taken. I prefer to remain an enigma!
gone to pot :D

Wow they looked great. Ours are outside did not force them on this year. We left them to winter out under some straw the frost has done them well. Cannot believe the beds they have doubled in size. Our fruits are big and green so role on another couple of weeks. Mind you our 2 yr old will get there first!!!!!!! :D
