Sarah - pleased you asked that :) we've still got some seed potatos chitting (delayed doe to work, weather, bad back - we've lots of excuses ::)) and like yours they have some dodgy looking white stuff in places and we don't know wether to bother putting them in or not. Will have to watch this space...

gunnerbee

cant take a photo sorry, but i had them in the boot of the car and some got really bad, dont know whether they rotted or it could be something nasty, have chucked the bad ones away and they seem fine, might spray them with derris before planting them.

redimp

I think I would chuck them based on the safety first principle.

ooh well, ill risk it i suppose, i hate wasting stuff!!!! perhaps ill put them in pots instead of risking the veggie patch.

Good question that - Is it too late to plant out seed pots??

I have some which look healthy with no sign of mould,.

"Is it too late to plant out?"

( hope not as I have a long day planned at the lottie, come rain,

hail or shine - or all three, which is possible on the north east

coast !! )

It's not too late for earlies; you might not get a lot off maincrops.

Merry Tiller

Chuch 'em all in, so what if you get small ones

Debs

Thanks for that Robert, I suppose I have nothing to lose -except

planting space if I put them in.

Merry Tiller - Good things in little bundles eh  ;)
