Birmingham City Council have been allowing Allotment Societies to rent plots since early summer. We've had several people take up plots during the pandemic. Some have given it up-others continued.
Obviously social distancing and cleaning procedures have to be complied with and the Community Sheds, Shop and the toilets have been closed for some time.
As regards the shop whilst the physical shop has closed the Treasurer has set up an ingenious and safe system whereby the orders are emailed and paid for by money transfer/cheque. Then he drops the stuff over on their plot for them to collect!
