Again I hadn't thought about the disturbance I make as I go around. Perhaps the early risers check out for intruders.
That's kind of what I like to think, that they are just saying Hi and having a game out of curiosity.

Sounds a lovely way to spend an evening! Yes, they are almost touching as they go by, easily reach out with a hand to touch them - if I were bat fast.
