Ok, here goes.

Ah dinnae ken how tae stert this threed at a'.  I dinnae ken whit tae talk aboot.  I think its funny how oo aw spak different like, ye can be only aboot fower miles doon the road and talk entirely different.  Ave trevelled a' ooer this country an lived in a few places as weel an seem to unerstand maist folk, mine ee the only yins a' dinnae ken whits bein' said is frae NE England, the Geordies, def. hae tae talk slow fur me.

Now whit pairt o' the country am I frae???
Folk who ken me dinnae answer. OK

You talk the same as my Eldest Daughter and she lives in Fife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

I'm not sure it's Scots.  What about Geordie?  Or don't Geordie's say dinnae ken?  You sound a bit like my Banffshire neighbour.  We have so many of each though their dialects have probably hybridised  ;D

Well me and Eileen are 40 odds miles apart.  Will run it a bit longer.  I am not a Fifer, or from Aiberdeen either.  Certainly not from the West Coast either.  Bloomin' cheek saying 'loony bin'.  could say more to that, but won't.  I have some dignity.
