PSB I am sorry

I did say that I was fed up with you a couple of years ago.

Last year and this year you failed to survive.

I want you back

I lost my PSB due to the bad weather and i've really missed it this spring as i really love it and you just can't buy it in the shops.  Next winter i'm going to try and protect it with glass panels around the outside of it if i can.

It's not the same, but in Hampshire at least PSB is available in the supermarket - Sainsburys and Morrisons definitely have it.

I've now got "I want you back" lyrics going round my head!

My PSB survived the winter, but isn't producing masses, I think it is too dry. But I know what you mean, it does fill that gap before the broad beans and peas start producing ;)

We didn't put any in last year and we have just finished eating the stuff I had frozen.
I am sowing some as soon as I have time and I am going to plant it in a sheltered position with a wind break around it. Whats the betting we have a milder winter after I have gone to all that bother.
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

Fortunately you can eat the flower buds off any brassicas which are still alive, so all isn't lost!
