we got our neglected allotment in the summer and just cos we needed something to show for all the hardwork we put in some winter cabbages, they seem to be doing ok but not sure if they need feeding and if so what should we use ???

Don't feed them now as it makes soft growth which can be damaged by hard frosts... just let them get on with it.. cover with net against pigeons if you haven't already...  :)
