2 possibilities come to mind:
1)You posted it in the wrong place - click on your profile & show recent posts to find it!
2)It was moderated - very unlikely for this to happen without your knowledge!

Yeh I think it must be a gremlin too.

With the sort of things I have seen on this forum, it certainly wont have been moderated off.

no worries, got the answer. Thanks to all who cared enough to put their two happorth in though.
