Garlic v Slugs and Snails
« on: June 27, 2007, 10:35:19 »
Heard in a couple of places that garlic was the latest 'weapon' in the battle against slugs and snails. You can even get garlic granules so sprinkle under and around your plants to deter them. Garlic spray (according to the hosta society) is supposed to keep them off the foliage of vunerable plants.

I myself am trying out the granules. So far so good. Just one down side. THEY STINK! ;D.  Have used it sparingly in the greenhouse as a result. I guess this is how it works.

Has anyone else tried any garlic treatment to keep the slime devils away? I would be interested to hear what sort of results you had with it.
