Newbie alert!

Hello everyone,
I've been lurking around this forum for about a week or so and I think it's about time I said Hi.
HI!
I have a plot in a semi-rural village called Sacriston, which is just south of Chester-Le-Street in Durham (that's North East for those of you who don't do geography :P ).
I have only had the plot for a few weeks, and am battling with broken glass, impossibly hard to dig out bricks and rubble, and odd, rusted lumps of metal which I believe must have been someones whole gardening tools at one time!
I have built my small shed and greenhouse and am working on my next plan - THE BIG SHED! Am off to pick up loads of pallets and offcuts of wood from a building site (yes, I do have permission from the site forman for these!) tomorrow and next weekend I'm having a barbecued-steak-and-cold-beer-in-return-for-hard-labour party next week. Should be fun! Freecycle has proved to be invaluable for a lot of things too.
Anyhoo, enough from me, I'm sure I'll be able to let you in on more of my goings on as I go on. I'll let you all know how the shed goes when it's built!
T'ra!

Hello Suzi. I'm not very much further north than you (near Newcastle), and just got my own first proper lottie. We've got a half one that we've been sharing, but this is our first venture into "do it just how you like" world. I've got big plans.
Hard work, innit? :)

Hi SnooziSuzi, I'm very much a newbie too! Watch out for the old broken glass, I'm currently saving enough to make my own stained glass window, I keep a little mushroom punnet on the corner of the plot to put it all in.
May the flora be with you, (but not too much fauna) ;D
