growing rocket
« on: March 04, 2007, 19:14:02 »
Has anyone had any success with growing rocket throughout the year? My plants either bolt or are a mass of holes due to flea beetle attack. Do I have to keep them under fleece for the whole year?

My rocket grows outside all year round. And are still edible, a little tougher in winter, but tastewise their ok.

I planted them in blocks and some of them bolted. They spread their seeds in the block, so no problem there.
I also saved some seeds for this year, to fill in the gaps.

Some of the leaves have small holes in them, but not to an extend that I need to worry.
