1 5 year old black smooth coated lurcher (no tail!)
1 2 year old long haired tan lurcher (pictured)
2 guinea pigs
1 wife

all dogs are ex rescue dogs from the charity my wife works for and are chicken friendly!

Oh no, not another dog called Petra!! The years of grief I suffered at school from Blue Peter and boys thinking they were being clever.
Anyway Im sure it's a lovely dog, does she look like the BP dog?

We're a one dog, four chicken household...

We've got an all black rescue German Shepherd called Ellie.  She's lovely... as long as you're not another dog, or the postman. We knew about all her problems when we took her on and we're slowly getting there.  Its hard work at times, but very rewarding to see her make progress. I do agility with her, which she loves and is quite good at (though we have to have a lesson on our own because she's still not good enough around other dogs).

Our chickens are: Buffy (a Welsummer), Ginger (a Buttercup), Paxo (a Goldline) and Bisto (a Rhode Star).  They are have their own characters and its great to have such fresh, tasty eggs too.
