When will it ever end? When wil spring arive in the midlands? Looks like I will be digging snow and not the plot :( Come on spring where are ya!

hee hee, i'm still in excited phase, and just gazing out the window.

so much to look watch whilst everything disappears under a thick blanket of the white stuff.

i've made sure the birdies can get to their food so just sitting here watching them now.

Oooooh proper snow MrsKP...even on the washing line!! Ours is the urban "white bits with sludgy edges of grey" variety!!!

Wow you lot! I am amazed at your snow pics, especially yours MrsKP! Here in Essex we had a few brief flurries yesterday, but I am relieved to say it came to nothing. Today has been very cold (2 degrees when we went for our walk) but the sun was out and the sky was blue. I don't want any more snow now please, I am hoping to get my spuds planted tomorrow! :-\

We had quite deep drifts in Edinburgh but the wind has calmed, the temperature has risen and much of the snow has already melted.
Drat! Could've been a day off tomorrow! ;) ;)

ours is still there, only having thawed a tad. shed STILL has full roof of snow.

i'm beginning to dread tomorrow morning for work now. if this lot freezes, there'll be trouble out there.

Loads of snow here in the North East. It hasn't stopped all day. I just hope it doesn't freeze over night too otherwise the roads will be trecherous tomorrow. busy_lizzie

extremely cold, but the majority of the snow gone now.

i could have suffered one more day of it proper before i let it melt. :'(

i'm just glad i had yesterday off work to enjoy it.

Got up this morning and guess what, it has snowed overnight. After it clearing yesterday quite quickly, back it comes again. Will this winter never be over? :( busy_lizzie

I agree with you there BL this winter has been long. I have never ever wearied so much for the spring as I do this year, this winter has been endless. Somehow I have found it colder as well. Normally our heating goes off 9.30 a.m. until 4.30 p.m. but not this winter, it has been on all day because its been so cold. So big big oil bills. Maybe next week we will have a nice mild spring day eh? something to look forward to. ::) ::) ::)

Me too Carol! Totally sick of it. With a bit of luck though perhaps once it goes this time it will herald fantastic Spring weather and warm sunny days. You can only hope can't you? :-\ busy_lizzie
