Its been one of those weekends that makes you smile
Went to lottie yesterday and got rotovated on both plots, emptied an old composting area from previous owner which was infested with bind weed. It looked like a little earth mound, but ended up being about 10 + barrows of earth moved. Repaired the path (hubby excavated - without consent) I had a nice grass path and he left me with a hole and single row of bricks on edge he'd found, how do you get a wheel barrow along that? But its grass again now. Edged the other side of my path between both plots and today.... sowed my broad beans and put my shallots in. Hooray progress at last. Its a pain when you have to work Mon-Fri and only chance to get on the lottie is weekends in the winter and then you can guarantee you plan to do something and it rains all weekend, but not this one... although there was a nip in the air. (bl**dy cold actually but the sun shone and the sky is blue), and it made me smile
