...from the train...
i wnet on a train journey from newcastle to sheffield (and back again!) and wondered every  time i saw an allotment if it belonged to any of you, so could i have seen yours?

You passed my house and my back garden where i grow my vege.Unfortunately it can't be seen from the railtrack but yes you went right passed.

I do the Huddersfield Middlesbourgh run quite often and i too love to watch the changing seasons in peoples allotments ,what they grow etc.
It makes the journey so much more interesting.

You'd have seen the ones in Heeley from the train I reckon (in Sheffield) - am sure someone has one there.  

I love looking at lotties from trains, you get a real sense of recycling/rebuilding/innovation with all the higeldy piggeldy sheds n stuff.

Years ago, long before I got my lottie, I used to wander around Sheff taking pictures of them - they're really personal and often very colourful.  guess actually having one is a natural progression...

i did see the heeley ones, that was my destination so i was looking out for landmarks!

i am doing my LRPS (licentiate of royal photographic society) on allotments, based around creative recycling so i understand your picture taking!
