Pepper bargains

It's that time of year again when the shops begin to flog their pepper plants. while the plants are in bad shape, theyre often perfect for overwintering

Picked up:
Two jalapeño
Two scotch bonnet
Hot Thai dragon
Hot banana

At B&Q for a total of £2
Also got an aji lemon for 50p at wyvale garden centres.


Don't use the seeds from the peppers, they will almost certainly be crossed. Overwinter, then self pollinate .
I repot mine in 1 gall ice cream tubs I get for free from work.
