Just transplanted (is that the right word) a whole tub of toad spawn to my pond.. Was chatting to a patients relative who told me that they had 3 ponds all chocka block with spawn, and she offered to donate some for my pond.  In it all went last night.  Hope all the little ones were alright cos we had our first frost for ages and the pond froze over.  Undecided

A month ago I moved 12 toads out of my pool to near the lottie fresh water ditch lovely pools for them and no other toads around leaving 6 at home. Because of haveing Koi they eat the spawn etc come back from holls 2 weeks to being over run with toads again have they no idea what koi can do. Try to help and it backfires on you. Sad
